Toyota shows next Avalon to dealers, rumors suggest it looks like A7, XJ

When one thinks of Toyota Avalon, come phrases like "social security", "health insurance" and "Grand Slam Denny" comes to mind. The reason? The majority of the Avalon on the road are driven by old people and selling curtain rod, but a report from Automotive News that it is possible to change in the very near future.

In his report says that the next Toyota Avalon has been shown to dealers in June, and the staff liked what they saw. The large sedan will undergo a massive overhaul that transformed the Avalon to a granny-glider with a plot of curves, with comparisons already developed for the Audi A7 and the Jaguar XJ.

Of course, Toyota dealers usually spend their working days watching the Yaris and Corolla, so that their eyes, the design might be a little confused. But should, at least for the next Avalon very different from the model that we know and ignore today, and should be a welcome change.

Speaking of the Yaris and Corolla, the UN states that two models are planned for the redesign. The new Yaris to arrive this fall with a more aggressive style and a little more interior space. The Corolla also get a hard update the 2012 model year, but further reform is expected to come in the spring of 2014. The Corolla is refined to a more European-inspired design instead of following competitors like the Ford Focus have winding.

Another interesting development has come courtesy of the Sequoia SUV. A says that Toyota is looking for the current model for the 2014 model year and trim under the name Sequoia as input for the legendary Land Cruiser. Toyota would issue a total of 10 new or redesigned vehicles by the end of next year.
