Top Gear going Dutch with new series in Holland

Spin is not usually a good thing if you do a show about cars, unless the mill in question refers to the series itself and not driving the car. And while Clarkson, Stig, et al, certainly enough cars on and behind the camera have turned their mishaps are the number of spin-off shows that have resulted from the original BBC program overwhelmed.

Apart from the other shows that Hammond and May to show in particular host and magazines, and the road and everything else, Top Gear has spread to other series in Australia, Russia, the USA, China and South Korea led. And those are just the ones we know. Now a word on the street is that another series is planned for the Netherlands.

The latest spin-off is being developed by the editors of the magazine Autoweek Holland and producers of Veronica, a local television station, which already British and Australian versions of the show in Holland.

The formula will naturally follow the tried and true format as the original was so successful and been replicated worldwide. As for the Stig, well ... We have always thought his name sounded mysterious Dutch. And now it is.
