Toyota Tacoma to receive nip/tuck this fall

Toyota is on an update for its Tacoma mid-size pickup, according to a report in The Wall Street Journal. The Taco is updated in October for the first time as part of the automaker's plan to debut several new or updated vehicles this year. In addition to Tacoma, Camry and Yaris will also receive substantial changes for the new model year.

Bob Carter, group vice president and manager of the Toyota brand, said the 2012 Tacoma have the same engine and chassis to keep, but will a new exterior design and an updated interior have. Currently, the Tacoma is a 4.0-liter V6 that produces 236 hp and 266 lb-ft of torque power supplies.

Further notes that the Carter-Tacoma received new entertainment features, and as we already mentioned, the system of the car? Entune new infotainment will be among the offerings. We will have more details coming in October.
