Mercedes-Benz Viano Vision Pearl concept van sets sail for Frankfurt

There was a time when "land yacht" was not nice to say about a Buick Riviera, but these days it seems de rigueur. The Range Rover has used naval architects take to their sport-ute, Rolls-Royce Phantom DHC teak used on its Audi Q7 Coastline came out of the concept see, also gave his Volvo station wagon with the theme Ocean Race. Now Mercedes-Benz even followed in his car last show, uh ... van.

Benz has taken its Viano (a model not on these shores) and the concept has become a Pearl Vision. Recognized as a "yacht on wheels", the Viano Pearl Vision one job matte painting bears pebble gray, but inside the treatment, the white and gray leather, wood is different floor, brushed aluminum self-trim windows, onboard Wi-Fi and color a Bang & Olufsen audio system.

All-in-all, it goes back to the Mercury Villager Nautica edition and the Plymouth Voyager, when small sailing boat, the badge on the nose that we had did as children, but then maybe there's a reason both brands bankruptcy. Either way, the Viano Pearl Vision at the Frankfurt Motor Show port come September, but now you can check with the pair of high-resolution images below and in the press release after the jump.
