Cloth, leather, Alcantara and bizarre thread on the dashboards of some new Chevrolet Cruze sedan are examples of different materials are used to build the interior of modern cars. Hyundai is breaking new ground to bring the entire passenger cabin, and the newest product available, the Korean car manufacturer is volcanic rock.
Hyundai wanted to add a little luxury in the interior of its latest model. The Accent and Elantra both necessary material wrapped inside one of the pillars until quotient class, but would increase the purchase price of the Client. Alternatives were sought and engineers concocted a mixture of resin, fibers and volcanic rock. The end result is a plastic that look and feel, wrapped in a towel is, with obvious cost savings that come from puke stuff in the basement of the earth.
