The Honda CB Motorcycles History

In 1969, Honda launched the first CB model - the CB750 - which combines exceptional performance, reliability and engineering sophistication. In 1979 Honda CB750 improve the performance of the most significant model for CB750F Super Sport models.

With CB900F model was introduced in 1981 with 16 valve 902cc engine with a valve and a larger carburetor. In 1983 Honda introduced their 1062cc engine powered CB1100F. The Hurricane - CBR1000 - came out in 1987 with a quieter engine, more consistent power output and reduce emissions. The CB750 Nighthawk, the air is cooled and 750 four-cylinder 747cc displacement engine with four valves per cylinder and double overhead cam shaft to be one of the most popular model of CB.


In 1992 Honda CBR900RR models produced by CB and engine displacement 893cc inline 4 (the year 1996 the engine displacement has grown to 919cc). Honda CBR929RR motorcycle powered by a 929cc engine fuel injection was introduced in 2000. In 2002 the best sales CBR954RR is redesigned with new style, a lighter weight and more powerful than 954cc inline engine. In 2007, Honda CB1000R inaugurated powered by 998cc four-cylinder engine with sixteen valves and a 6-speed gear box reached a top speed of 140mph.
